The lakes and rivers of the park are home to an abundance of Marsh Mugger crocodiles and the rare, endangered, fish-eating Gharial crocodile. Explore the park with trained guides – by jeep or on a guided walking tour. Chitwan National Park is one of the best places in the world to observe and study a wide array of rare bird species. In addition to an abundance of resident species, many types of migrating birds arrive at Kasara in the winter from places as far as Siberia and beyond.
